THE PATH
The creation of Reel Nature is a result of two life passions coexisting with the goal to educate and help the environmental community. As the effects of video engagement increased as social media evolved, so did the need for environmental awareness and education. This cohesion of industries has allowed for a unique perspective into our storytelling. We have a vested interest in nature, sustainability and environmental activities, so our focus in the film world is just that.
THE LOGO
The Eastern White Pine is the official tree of Ontario, and for good reason. The old growths of these impressive tree’s can reach up to 30meters in height, towering in beauty over much of Eastern Canada. This iconic tree is featured in many Group of Seven paintings, including Tom Thomson, Lawren Harris and A.J Casson. To complete the logo, a rich hunter green is contrasted with an earthy yellow to represent the surrounding colours of this iconic tree in an Ontario autumn.

THE LAND
Reel Nature operates in London, ON, along the Anter (Thames) River. We acknowledge these land as the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attawandaron (Neutral), and Wendat peoples. We would also like to recognize the continued stewardship of this territory by the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee Delaware Nation. At Reel Nature, our goal is to preserve the stories of our past, and recognize the emerging stories of today.
